Spinal cord injury (SCI) leads to motor and sensory abnormalities. Management focuses on minimizing disability and improving quality of life. This review explores the use of Ayurveda, Yoga, and Acupuncture in managing SCI and alleviating symptoms. Integrating Ayurveda, Acupuncture, Yoga, and Rehabilitation can improve muscle strength, quality of life, and reduce depression and pain in SCI patients.
The study suggests that an integrated approach, combining Ayurveda with conventional treatments and other alternative therapies, may offer enhanced benefits for individuals with SCI.
The findings indicate that Ayurveda, Yoga, and Acupuncture can be effectively used to manage symptoms such as pain, stress, and depression associated with SCI.
The review implies that incorporating Ayurveda-based interventions can potentially improve rehabilitation outcomes, including muscle strength, range of motion, and overall quality of life.
