The COVID-19 pandemic and resulting measures like quarantine have drastically changed lifestyles, potentially impacting physical activity levels, especially for individuals with neurological diseases. This systematic review aimed to understand how the pandemic affected physical activity in people with neurological conditions and how this related to their disease symptoms and psychosocial well-being. The review found a significant decrease in physical activity among individuals with neurological diseases during the pandemic, which was associated with worsened disease symptoms and psychosocial factors.
