Spinal cord injuries can greatly affect a person's life. This study looked at how to best manage bladder problems that often happen after such injuries. The study followed 100 men with spinal cord injuries to see how their bladders behaved and how to treat them. The goal was to find ways to prevent complications and improve the quality of life for these patients through careful bladder management.
Implementing structured bladder management protocols including CIC and medication can reduce complications.
Regular urodynamic studies are crucial for tailoring treatment and preventing upper urinary tract damage.
Educating patients and caregivers about CIC and autonomic dysreflexia is vital for long-term management.
