The biennial conference showcases research, patient care, health policy, and advocacy in spinal cord injury (SCI) rehabilitation, addressing controversies and ethical dilemmas. KITE's mission is to be a trailblazer in research, education and knowledge translation, dedicated to improving the lives of people living with the effects of impairment, disability, illness and aging. The Ontario SCI Alliance leads community engagement to address systemic barriers impacting the quality of life of people living with SCI, focusing on access to medical supplies, mobility devices, and primary care.
