This study explores the psychological well-being of individuals with traumatic brain injury (TBI) who are living in the community but are unemployed and have low life satisfaction. The research examines how different measures of well-being relate to each other in this specific group of people. The findings highlight the need for interventions that can improve productivity and bring more meaning into the lives of people with TBI.
Develop and implement interventions to increase productivity and meaning in life for individuals with TBI.
Incorporate a broader range of well-being measures, including social capital and emotional factors, in assessments of individuals with TBI.
Conduct more research on the drive and motivation needed for individuals with TBI to engage in productive activities.
